Birthday

On Sunday May the 22 I will be 74 years old. When I was young I never thought about being old and that someday it would be hard just to get around. We take so many things for granted in our youth and never stop to give God thanks for the simple things that mean so much to us when we get older. One thing that being older has blessed me with is that I no longer have a desire for material things. My only desire in the time I have left is just to please the Lord. I remember Bud Chambers wrote a song one day entitled, "I wonder have I pleased the Lord." After all, that is the only thing that counts.

Happy Birthday

Lindaelle (Baby) turns 14 today. A terrific singer and a sweet little girl who can always be counted on to do her part. She is a great little Christian and a helper to Poppa Bob. Happy Birthday Baby and God bless you with many more.

Leno's Birthday

Leno is a young man who has no father or mother. We give him a place to sleep, feed him, and see that he has what he needs. He runs errands and is always ready to do his part and more around the place. Poppa Bob is purchasing him a flashlight for his Birthday as he told me he needed one to release the guard dogs after the generator is turned off at night. Happy Birthday Leno.

Happy Birthday

Today is Malissa's Birthday. Poppa Bob wants to wish her a "Happy Birthday." She is a precious little girl who is a great singer and helper around the house.

Mary Ange's Birthday

The voice of an "Angel" singing. That is Mary Ange. She came to us when she was 6 years old and has been a tremendous person all her life. She is the Praise and Worship leader in our church and I am here to tell you they don't come any better. All our love to you Mary Ange. "Happy Birthday. "

Wilson's Birthday

Wilson was orphaned when his mother and father were both killed in seperate accidents. He came to us and are we ever glad. He is so precious and extremely smart. We all love him so much and he is a loving child. "Happy Birthday Wilson."

Nathan's Birthday

Nathan is Mark Allen's little boy. She is a loving little boy that always wants to come and give Poppa Bob a hug. When he comes down from Port-au-Prince, the whole house goes on red alert as he is into everything. He is a sweet little guy. "Happy Birthday" Nathan.

Jordanny's Birthday

Jordanny has been with me for the past 30 years. He is one of the most kind and gentle people you will ever know. If something goes wrong Jordanny is summoned as he is always willing to pray work or do whatever is necessary to help out. He is the husband of Clertide, and the father of Michaelle, David and Daniel. "Happy Birthday Jordanny."

Jn. Mark's Birthday

Jn. Mark is the (Gofer) around here. He goes everywhere for everyone and never complains. He carries messages, goes to buy candy for other kids, and is always busy. He loves to play with the other kids. He is Marvick's right hand man. "Happy Birthday Jn. Mark." We love you.

Mark Allen's Birthday

Mark Allen, while he is the son of Andre and Violine, seems like a son to me. He was with me when he was little and now he has a son of his own. When he comes down from Port-au-Prince to see us he always comes and puts his arms around me and give me a kiss on the cheek. He is a precious young man. "Happy Birthday" son.

David's Birthday

Too much cannot be said concerning David. He helps in the church musical program, he ministers the word, he takes care of business for the home, he does all the electrical work that needs to be done, and he always has a smile. He is very valuable to us here at Royal Palm Children's home and everyone loves him. "Happy Birthday David."

Marienese's Birthday

You will never find a more loving and caring child than Marienese. She is so precious and is always wanting to please. She likes to help entertain the little ones and treats them so nice. "Happy Birthday Marienese." We all love you.

Marvick's Birthday

Poppa Bob's little boy Marvick turns nine years old today. Only God in heaven knows how much I love this little guy. He has been with me since the day he was born. He is a very tender and kind hearted little guy. Everyone here knows when Marvick is around. "Happy Birthday Marvick."

Frantzy's Birthday

Frantzy, or Cheet as he is know here, is a young man you will see a lot of if you are around here. He loves music and talking on the telephone. "Happy Birthday Cheet."

Michaelle's Birthday

Michaelle has been with us all her life She is the daughter of Jordanny and Clertide. She is a precious girl and she s studying to be a pharmacist. "Happy Birthday Michaelle."

Betina's Birthday

Betina has been with us since she was six years old. I'll never forget when she first came she would be in the kitchen helping with the dinner instead of playing with the other kids. I encougaged her to go out and play with the kids and reluctantly she did. She is still a real worker and is striving to get her nurses degree and be a registered nurse. "Happy Birhday Betina."

Lude's Birthday

Lude came to us from a large family. The father had died and the mother could not take care of all the children. She is a precious little girl who is quite a dancer. She loves to turn on the radio and dance to the music. Everyone loves her so much. "Happy Birthday Lude,"

Renerlande's Birthday

Of all your children, there is one that holds a "special" place in your heart. It is hard to explain it without someone thinking you love one more than the other. Whatever it is this little girl is very special to me Poppa Bob loves her very much. When asked what she wanted for her birthday she saiid, "Corn Flakes and Milk." It hurts so much to see little Children like Renerlande have to go hungry for the things most Children take for granted.

Daniel's Birthday

Daniel turns 13 today. He has now joined the teenager crowd. In fact he thought this picture of him was cool so he wanted me to use it. He is a great kid. "Happy Birthday Daniel."
