Cooking the food.

The food we feed the Children does not just "Magically" appear on the plate. First Madame Jordanny has to go to Vialet to the open market and purchase the food. It is then placed on a tap tap and brought to our gate at the bottom of the hill. Then it is carried on people's heads to the house where it is cleaned. Then a charcoal fire must be built and huge pots placed over the fire until the food is cooked. Once it is cooked it must be dished out to feed everyone. Here some of the ladies are putting together a meal.
