Mommy has been going night and day making breakfast and dinner for our 16 guests from U.C.L.A. as well as taking care of the house. At the end of two weeks she is operating on nervous energy. Remember her in your prayers that God will sustain her and give her the strength she needs. After this she has a wedding coming up in a couple of weeks and people will be flying in from the States and staying here at the house. In this picture Mommy is placing home made grits on a breakfast plate. This was taken about 30 minutes ago.

14 Pizzas
Sunday night Mommy made (14) pizzas like the one above to serve everyone. They were so good and everyone had such a wonderful time. Not only our 16 visitors from the U.S. but we had 7 visitors from Port-au-Prince plus 40 people from our home and some other kids from the neighborhood. This picture was taken before the cheese was put on and before it was baked.
Desperate need of prayer.
I went to bed at 8:30 p.m. but got up and dressed so I could speak with one of the visitors who is here. After I undressed and went back to bed only to be told just a few minutes ago that one of our dear Brothers in the church is gravely ill. I got up and dressed again and have been praying for him.. I would appreciate it if you would pray too. He has a prostate condition and has not been able to pee pee for three days. This morning at 4:00 a.m. they called us and Mark Allen took the truck and picked him up and took him to the hospital in miragoane. He was suffering so much and they came and placed him on the floor so they could put another person who was paying in his bed. The doctor said he could do nothing for him and suggested that he be taken to another hospital about 30 miles away. They wouldn't take him in the ambulance and once again they called us. He is now at home as no doctor can do anything for him. It is now 20 minutes till one in the morning but I know that God is able to heal him. It takes our banding together and having unwavering faith. I ask you to remember him in prayer. I have been praying for him and now I am going to try to go back to bed. Thanks again for being understanding and praying for our Brother.

How are you doing? I am sorry I didn't inform you about my traveling for a Medicinary program. It is currently held in Nigeria, Sweden and Kenya. I am presently
in Nigeria. It as been a very sad and bad moment for me because I got robbed on my way to the hotel where I lodged. My ID, cash and other valuables I have with me got stolen, I contacted the embassy here to help me out but it will take some time to get back to me. I urgently need your financial assistance. The total sum of money that i would need would be $2,700 to sort-out my hotel bills and get myself back home. I will appreciate your help, I promise I will pay you back upon my return, Let me know if you can assist me so that i can send you the details to use when sending the money through western union.
Looking Forward To Read From you Soon,
Thanks Bob C. Jones.

Pizza Night
Tonight is a special night for tonight is "Pizza Night." No we don't send out for Domino's, Pizza Hut, New York or Chicago style but we have "MOMMY'S PIZZA." Everyone is so excited as this will be a real treat. There are young people as old as 24 years who have never tasted pizza before in their lives. Tonight, all of that will change and they will get a taste of the best.
The little kids of "Haiti" Win
Sidelines Casualties
Competition Fierce
What if I had said no.
Here is the reason at seventy two I am still here. You see, there are many little children all around us just like Nesselove. You might say, “Brother Bob you can't help them all," I know that but I cannot use that as an excuse for not helping those I can. Years ago I began helping little children and I helped a little boy just like this. He went on to the United States, studied hard and won an academic scholarship and graduated from West Point. He spent time in Iraq and is now an Officer in the U.S. Army teaching at West Point. What if I hadn't helped him? Some told me recently on the telephone that I might as well come back to the States as I am not doing anything here. I realize I cannot get around and do as I used to when I was younger but I still feel my need to be here and do what I can. Beyond that I am blessed beyond anything that you could possibly imagine. For one, I will never have to stand before God and say that I am sorry for not doing all that I could do to help little children like Nesselove.

Thank you Lord
Sometimes we do not praise the Lord enough for what He does for us. In fact we never praise Him enough. I know how much I missed having electricity and now for the past two months we have had it all the time with only minor interruptions. When I flip the switch and the light comes on I say, "Thank you Jesus for the electricity." During the night when I have to get up and the nightlight is on I say, "Thank you Jesus for the electricity." When I go to the water tap and there is water I say, "Thank you Lord for the electricity to pump the water." I thank Him so much and am so blessed to have electricity. When was the last time you flipped on the light switch and said, "Thank for Lord for the electricity, or was the last time you mentioned electricity was when you were complaining on how high you bill was? We just don't thank Him enough do we?

IRANIAN CLERIC: Some in unrest should be executed
TEHRAN (Reuters) – A hardline Iranian cleric on Friday called for the execution of "rioters," in a sign of the authorities' determination to stamp out opposition to the June 12 presidential election result. Now tell me more about the peaceful, kind, and understanding religion of Islam.

The person, who was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity, says the King of Pop died at age 50 in a Los Angeles hospital ...Again I say no matter how high up the ladder of success you climb you will eventualy meet God face to face. When that time comes for you what will you tell him you did with your life?

Yesterday
"Yesterday the group spent their day here at the beach of La Cuelle. Though there was terrible damage to the area, it is starting to recover and the kids had a wonderful time. They came in worn out but happy. After a great dinner that Violine had fixed, they played bingo and awarded the little children who played with toys and candies. "

Humpty Dumpty
"New findings released overnight suggests that Humpty Dumpty did not just fall off the Wall as we have all been told all of our lives, but rather that he was pushed. His estranged brother, Frumpty Dumpty emerges as a person of interest along with Humpty's ex-wife Dorothy Dumpty. Because there were no DNA tests at that time, we may never know for sure."
Breakfast at Fond Doux, Haiti
Into the fifth day of their 14 day visit to Haiti, the group of young people from U.C.L.S. enjoy their delicious breakfast topped with fresh tropical fruit. Everyone is having a good time and they are ministering every day to the people here. I regret that there were those who were just not able to come this time but we shall be looking forward to them coming the next time.

Freezers new resident
With a group of 16 young people, who will be visiting for two weeks, it takes a lot of food. That is the reason they purchased this (beef on the hoof). That way there will be plenty of fresh meat for everyone and we will get a chance to try out the new freezer. In writing this I am reminded of a time when I was in the South at a black church. We had an "all day meeting and dinner on the grounds." As the minister offered thanks over the food he said, "And Father, we are thankful for these chickens that died so we might live." He was dead serious and positively right.

David receives a laptop
Just too cute
We had a School Feeding program today. There is only one day of school left so this will probably be the last one until school resumes in the fall. We will however be having our regular Feeding Program and I will let you know about that. We had 179 Children present today. This photo was just too cute for me not to share it with you.

My Friend Ray
All of these things, the freezer, the refrigerator, and the water cooler, were made possible because of a Memorial Fund for my friend Rev. Ray Peters of Camp Point, Illinois. I know that if Ray is looking down from the portals of Glory he is smiling because he always had a heart for Missions and our Children's Home here in Haiti. Thanks to his wife Ann Peters, the friends, family, and the Assembly of God Church in Camp Point, Illinois, where Ray was pastor, for thinking of what Ray would do in their time of mourning. We can never replace Ray as his son-in-law said, but we can meet him one day over there. God bless you all.
Freezer arrived today.

Students from U.C.L.A.
Tomorrow a group of young people from U.C.L.A. will be arriving here in Haiti to do some Missionary work. They will be holding services, praying for people who are sick, going from house to house witnessing about the Lord, and enjoying the fellowship of our Haitian young people. Be in prayer that their trip will be blessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Uwe made it
Uwe made it. His plane came in a little late as they had to circle because of a violent thunderstorm over Port-au-Prince. He was sure happy to get here and everyone was so happy to see him. He told me he almost missed his plane in Paris as they too were having heavy thundershowers. He said he left Cologne, Germany at 11:00 P.M. Sunday night and he was in the air over 16 hours. Needless to say he was very tired. Violine gave him some of her homemade chicken soup and he turned in for the night. We are so glad that he is here and we are looking for the rest of the kids on Thursday.
